Diocese of Chennai Opens New Tailoring Unit for Unemployed Women

Believers Church Diocese of Chennai launched a new tailoring unit for women in one Bridge of Hope center on 9th March 2015.

The church inaugurated this center to teach unemployed women from poverty-stricken families a skill which they can use to earn an income.

Mr. K. Ramachandran (MLA) was the chief guest. He inaugurated the center and appreciated the church for taking such steps to empower these women.

25 women have enrolled into the center. Over the next six months, they will be given training in stitching and embroidery works.
