On 26th January 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Chennai celebrated the 68th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest. Around 150 people attended the function.
As part of the celebrations, they also took part in a cleaning program. They went to the local railway station and cleaned up all its surrounding areas. The station master was very happy with their work and said, “Every year, at special occasions Believers Church comes and cleans our Railway station. We are so grateful to the church for their act of service”.
Programs came to a close with the plantation of saplings at the premises of a school.
