Diocese of Chandigarh Gives Relief Supplies to Jammu and Kashmir Flood Victims

Believers Church Diocese of Chandigarh distributed 80 ration kits to flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir on 15th September 2014. These kits contained rice, wheat, oil, pulses and salt.

The flash-flood in Jammu and Kashmir submerged over a hundred villages in water. It wiped out thousands of houses with all the crops and the livelihoods of many people. They needed some food for they have not eaten for many days.

So, the church came forward to provide them some food. They received the relief supplies with great joy and thanked church for helping them in their difficult situation.

Believers Church distributes food, supplies and also gives medical attention to help the distressed after natural disasters – regardless of the amount effort it takes.
