Diocese of Bongaigaon Inaugurates Ten Sanitation Facilities in a Fitting Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Believers Church Diocese of Bongaigaon inaugurated ten sanitation facilities at four different villages as a befitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s clean India dream.

The diocese also held drawing competitions for children enrolled in Bridge of Hope and awareness programs on cleanliness to mark the occasion.

Believers Church through its sanitation project has built tens and thousands of toilets across the nation with the purpose to help impoverished communities have access to toilets, improve sanitation in rural areas and end the practice of open defecation, among other goals.
