Believers Church Diocese of Birtamod helped 30 earthquake-hit families in a remote village in Dhading District on 22nd May 2015.
This village was severely affected in the earthquake and people here have sheltered in small tents and destroyed houses. They were in need of food and other supplies, but received no help from any relief team due to the destroyed transportation facilities.
Despite the difficulties, Believers Church was able to reach to them with help. A team distributed 750 kg of rice, 30 kg chickpea, 30 kg salt, 15 liter sunflower oil, noodles, biscuits and bathing soaps to them.
“Reaching to our village is very difficult, especially after the earthquake. Still you came here with help,” said one recipient. “Thank you so much for giving us these supplies”.
Believers Church is continuing its relief works in affected places and villages in Nepal. Read more about the church’s ongoing relief efforts.
