Diocese of Birtamod Distributes Mosquito Nets Among Tea Garden Workers on World Mosquito Day

On 20 August 2021, on the occasion of World Mosquito Day, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod organized a mosquito net distribution program in Jhapa District, Nepal through Women’s Fellowship.

With the aim of reducing the occurrence of mosquito-borne diseases in people, the Women’s Fellowship team distributed nets to poor and needy people on this occasion.

During the distribution program, the diocesan women’s fellowship leader shared about the different sicknesses that are spread through mosquitoes and urged everyone to utilize mosquito nets to protect their families from mosquito-borne diseases.

Altogether, 56 poor tea garden workers received the mosquito nets. The beneficiaries were extremely happy and touched by the love and kind act of the church.

Raj Kumar, one of the recipients, said, “I am grateful towards the church for providing me with this useful gift.”
