Diocese of Bilaspur Distributes Water Purifiers in Three Schools

Believers Church Diocese of Bilaspur observed World Water Day in three schools with the students and teachers on 20th March 2015.

A team of Women’s Fellowship members took initiative to organize the programs. They went to these schools and taught children about the careful handling of water and its importance. Later, they distributed water purifiers in each school to give children access to clean drinking water.

“This is the first time someone is coming to our school and organizing such a program,” said the Head Mistress of one school. “Thank you so much for coming and teaching our children about saving water. From now onwards, we won’t waste water.”

Events like this are example of how the church is helping hundreds of thousands of people access clean and sustainable drinking water.
