Diocese of Bengaluru Observes World Day Against Child Labor

Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru observed World Day Against Child Labor on June 12, 2016.

The diocese commemorated the day by organizing series of activities like awareness rallies, street plays among others. The events were coordinated and carried out by Bridge of Hope in the diocese.

On this day, Bridge of Hope staff, children, their parents and well wishers actively took part in the awareness campaign and showed their support against child labor. They took out rallies to highlight sensitive issues of child labor.

The rallies passed through main streets, market places and bus stops, shouting slogans, holding placards and banners. The Bridge of Hope children performed short skits on the streets to create awareness about this social evil and to stress on the importance of education for children.
