Diocese of Bengaluru Distributes Fruits to Leprosy Patients on World Leprosy Day

Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru and a team of Sisters of Compassion organized gift distribution programs for leprosy patients on World Leprosy Day, 25th January 2015.

The programs were held at two places, including one at a hospital. Mr. BS Hiremath (Tahsildar) was the chief guest in one program. And 95 people, who are affected with leprosy received pillows, bed sheets and fruit packets through these programs.

“We are so happy that you came and visited us,” said one among them. “Thank you so much for these gifts and your love.”

This is just one among the various programs organized by the church on World Leprosy Day to show care and compassion to the neglected.
