Diocese of Bengaluru Celebrates Founder’s Day in an Orphanage

Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru celebrated the birthday of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan, the founder of Believers Church with the residents of an orphanage on 8th March 2015.

60 people who are being abandoned and deserted by their beloved ones, widows and mentally retarded peoples are staying here. So, the church decided to show them care and compassion and to spend some time with them. They gifted them with clothes and sweets.

“I have two sons. They both are married and got settled, but I was always a burden to them,” said one lady among them. “Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful saree. I will never forget your love.”

Believers Church cares for those who are abandoned and deserted through organizing various programs like this.
