Diocese of Agartala Provides New Bore Wells to Six Hill Side Villages

Believers Church Diocese of Agartala installed six new bore wells between 5th and 6th September 2014 in different hillside villages.

The only sources of water in these villages are streams and open ponds that located in the valleys. Collecting water and carrying it back was really difficult for them. So, they desperately needed a water source in their village. Seeing their need, the church decided install new bore wells for them.

“We were planning to install a well in our village, but we dropped the idea because, we were unable to afford such a large amount of money,” said Thokirai Debbarma, one of the village head. “Thank you so much for realizing our need and providing us a well.”

Believers Church aims to provide safe drinking water to people in rural areas through the clean water project.
