Dhemaji Diocese Helps Them “Feel Proud to Be Women”

Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese celebrated International Women’s Day through programs in all its churches on 8th March 2013.

“I feel happy to know that women are honored on this day and blessed to attend this program,” said a woman named Dipamoni.

In one place, the local Sisters of Compassion raised awareness about the value of women through a procession and a program in the public hall. They gave bathing soap to widows as a token of love.

“The women folks are encouraged to move forward in their life, to know the importance of women and feel proud to be women,” said a local pastor on the occasion.

Believers Church’s work among women includes vocational training, widow care centers and literacy classes.
