Dhemaji Diocese Distributes Blankets Among the Needy

On 15th February 2014 a blanket distribution was organized in Dhemaji Diocese. The function took place on the campus of the diocese’s Minor Seminary. Overall 450 people benefited from the distribution.

Mr. Moinul Islam Mandal (Superintendent of Police) and Mr. L. Khobung (World Vision Manager) attended the function. In his speech Mr. Moinul Islam Mandal highly appreciated the church for taking initiative to reach out the poor and the needy people.

Mrs. Alima, a beneficiary, said, “I am a widow and I hardly earn money for my livelihood. It was very difficult to buy a single blanket, but through Believers Church I got one and I am much thankful to Believers Church for providing me the blanket.”

Believers Church regularly cares for the most neglected in society by showing compassion and providing for their needs.
