On 10th February, Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese participated in the National Rural Health Mission’s campaign to prevent Japanese Encephalitis in Assam. The diocese’s Minor Seminary was the venue for the first day of the two-week campaign to administer vaccinations.
Community members gathered at the seminary campus to receive vaccines from ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activists) women workers. At the end of the day, ASHA workers expressed their appreciation for the seminary’s hospitality.
Believers Church is committed to improving health in rural communities, and regularly holds medical camps and health awareness classes.
