Destitute Widows Receive Water Filters On International Widows Day
June 23, 2019In connection with International Widows Day, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Guwahati held a gift distribution program in a remote village on 23 June 2019.
On the occasion, the diocese distributed water filters to 13 needy widows from this village which will help in improving their quality of life.
On receiving the gift one of the widows named Kunja Kutum said, “This is the first time that I see people helping widows in our area. I am very grateful to Believers Eastern Church for encouraging us and giving us this gift. We indeed feel special”.
