Destitute Widows Receive Goats in Diocese of Buniyadpur

Believers Church Diocese of Buniyadpur distributed income-generating tools to destitute widows in a small village on 23rd June 2017 as part of International Widows Day celebrations.

These widows live in a helpless state of destitution and eke out a living through working in paddy fields and even begging. Some of them lead a solitary life and struggle with loneliness and poverty.

To help these widows overcome poverty and become financially stable, the diocese gave them goats. Ten widows were benefited through this initiative.
