A team from the Sunday school department of Believers Church Delhi Diocese started tuition classes for the children in a slum. The classes started on 5th September and altogether 45 students have joined.
The classes started after a Believers Church staff member met a child named Rahul from the slum and learned that he couldn’t read. To change his life and many other children like him, the church decided to open a tuition center for the students. These children receive lessons on reading and writing in English and Hindi in the classes.
Believers Church organizes classes for both children and adults to provide them basic education.
