Delhi Diocese Distributes 440 Blankets to Slum Dwellers

Believers Church Delhi Diocese distributed 440 blankets to slum dwellers on the evening of 15th January 2014.Due to the severe cold people used plastic sacks to cover themselves. Considering this situation Believers Church Diocesan staff distributed blankets, with the objective to bring some relief to their life.

The Delhi public greatly appreciated the work of Believers Church. One person said, “Its severely cold and we tend to live indoors, but these people don’t have any place to go, and you people helped them beat this weather.” On receiving the blanket a beneficiary said, “I am not able to sleep due to the weather; now with the blanket I can cover my body and sleep.”

Blanket distribution is only one of many ways that Believers Church helps those in need.
