Believers Church Delhi Diocese distributed poverty-alleviating gifts to 350 families from different areas of the National Capital Region on 14th February. The event started with Bishop Dr. Simon John and chief guest Prof. P.J. Kurien (Deputy Speaker of Rajya Sabha) lighting the inaugural lamp.
Prof. P. J. Kurien appreciated the unique endeavor of Believers Church and all its efforts in helping the downtrodden. He added that the church has always stood with the needy and poor.
Believers Church Delhi Diocese plans to help 1,500 needy community members this year through its poverty alleviation project. And this just one of Believers Church’s 33 dioceses committed to breaking the cycle of poverty.
