Uttarakhand Minor Seminary Celebrates Republic Day

Believers Church Minor Seminary in Uttarakhand joined the rest of the India in celebrating Republic Day on 26th January 2013. Chief guest Mr. Balwant Singh (ward member) hoisted the flag. He then reflected on the lives of India’s martyrs and encouraged the seminary students to be true citizens of the nation. “I like your program and that way your church is functioning in the society,” Mr. Balwant said.

The students and faculty took the national holiday as an opportunity to pray for India’s leaders. They also celebrated with sports and games, enjoying cricket, volleyball, a sack race and musical chairs.

Believers Church members throughout India celebrated their nation on Republic Day.
