COVID-19 Vaccine Awareness Campaigns and Mask Distributions Held

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow organized mask distributions and COVID-19 vaccination awareness campaigns at three different places of Lucknow District, from 17 April 2021 to 19 April 2021.

The main purpose of organizing the awareness programs was to motivate and mobilize people to get vaccinated. Despite the availability of COVID-19 vaccines, vaccine hesitancy continues to be a challenge among some sections of the population. So the campaigns were aimed at curbing misinformation surrounding vaccines and stressing on the safety and efficacy of the COVID vaccines.

Free face masks also were distributed to over 300 people by the diocese.
