COVID-19 Awareness Campaign Held in Diocese of Khagrachari

As the world continues to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Khagrachari in Bangladesh organized an awareness campaign in a remote village on 9 April 2021 to educate people on the measures to prevent coronavirus.

During the program, people were taught about the importance of wearing face masks, frequent hand washing and the need to maintain social distancing.

While speaking at the program, Mr. Milon Tripura, the head of the village said, “As a village head I am supposed to organize such programs but I couldn’t. I am really thankful to Believers Eastern Church for this awareness campaign”.

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, Believers Eastern Church has held several awareness programs which have helped dispel misinformation about the coronavirus while promoting precautionary measures like frequent hand washing and wearing masks.
