Community Happy to Get Clean Water during Monsoon

Believers Church Changlang distributed BioSand water filters on the 6th of August.

Even though the place where the distribution took place was a town, the water that the people used was not clean, especially during the monsoon season.

Believers Church, seeing the need, decided to distribute BioSand water filters. Shri. K. Chithan (Political leader) was the chief guest during the distribution program.

In his speech he talked about the privilege of receiving BioSand water filters. He also explained to the people how unclean water was the cause of typhoid, jaundice, diarrhea etc. Mr. Chithan himself requested one filter because he said, “This BioSand filter is much better than any other filters that we are using at home. I also thank Believers Church for caring and helping people in our community.”

After getting detailed information about the filters, the beneficiaries thanked Believers Church for the good work among their community.

This is one of the many ways in which Believers Church helps communities in dealing with their water problems such as water scarcity and unclean drinking water.
