Community Development Program Held to Observe World Mosquito Day

Believers Church Agartala Diocese observed World Mosquito Day by conducting a community development program on the 20th of August.

Mr. Rajendra Reang (Member of Autonomous District Council) was invited as the chief guest. Around 900 mosquito nets were distributed to poor people. They had regularly suffered from sickness caused by mosquitoes. The chief guest appreciated the sincere efforts of Believers Church in making a deliberate choice to love and care for the needy.

Another batch of 600 mosquito nets were distributed on the 26th of August. The special guest for that day was Mr. Gopal Debbarma (Garam Panchyat).

Kumar a recipient said, “I am so grateful towards Believers Church for providing me this special gift through its community development project. It will be a great help for me to avoid being a victim of malaria.”
