Poverty Alleviation Program Benefits 117 Widows in Nellore Diocese

Believers Church Nellore Diocese held a poverty alleviation program on 21st January 2014. Overall 117 widows benefited from the event. The gifts given to them included grinders, sewing machines, pairs of goats, etc.

Mr. Anatha Venkatarami Reddy (Member of Parliament) in his speech appreciated Believers Church for its work among downtrodden people and said that the church is doing everything which Jesus Christ would have done. Pedda, one of the beneficiaries said, “My income is small and I wished for something which could add to my income. God answered my prayers and I received the gifts through Believers Church.”

This is just one example of Believers Church’s work in undeveloped regions. The church gives thousands of poverty-alleviating gifts to needy communities each year.
