Women’s Fellowship in Jhapa District (District No. 4) organized a Combined Women’s Fellowship Meeting on 21 June 2023 at St. Peter’s Believers Eastern Church.
The meeting brought together women from various local churches in the Jhapa district who are part of the Women’s Fellowship groups. A total of 85 sisters, including Sisters of Compassion, attended the meeting.
The primary purpose of this meeting was to inspire and motivate the members through the teaching of God’s Word and to foster a sense of community and togetherness among them.
The Women’s Fellowship Leader of Birtamod Diocese was invited as the guest speaker for the meeting. She delivered an uplifting message based on 2 Kings 4:1-7, focusing on the theme of ‘God’s provision in times of dire need.’ She encouraged the women, emphasizing that there is always hope in God. Using the example of the widow who possessed only a small jar of oil, she highlighted how God multiplied her resources to meet the needs of her and her two sons. She reminded the attendees that when they act in faith, the Lord can transform their greatest hardships into remarkable miracles, assuring them that the same applies to each of them.
The meeting concluded successfully at 1:00 p.m.
Sister Bina said, “I am blessed to have attended the meeting and have fellowship with each other. I am so much encouraged through God’s Word.”
