Believers Church Udaipur Diocese held “Colours of Hope” competitions in its Bridge of Hope centers on 26th January 2013. This annual event gives children a chance to develop and showcase their art skills.
The students were really excited. “Our children were in anticipation of this competition since two to three months,” said Rekha, a Bridge of Hope tutor.
Mahendra drew a picture representing Republic Day. “I really like the Colours of Hope competition,” the eighth standard student said. “This sort of competition in fact gives all of us a boost for enhancing our skills.”
Another student, Jamuna said, “Earlier, I was interested neither in drawing nor painting any picture, because nobody encouraged for that.” But Bridge of Hope encouraged her. She was happy to compete and grow in her sketching skills.
Children discover and cultivate many talents and skills through Bridge of Hope’s holistic care.
