Clothes Distributed among Slum Children in Uttarakhand

Believers Church Uttarakhand distributed clothes to children and their families in a slum on the 3rd of September. Most parents in this slum are construction workers.

Rev. Fr. Abhishek and Rev. Fr. Haggai went to this slum and distributed clothes from house to house. The people were very happy to receive them.

Shankar said, “I have seven brothers and sisters. I don’t have my mother. My father being poor is not able to meet our needs. I am thankful to you for giving me clothes.”

An old woman said, “Thank you very much for providing clothes for our entire family. I was thinking it is only for the children but there was a sari for me also.”

Believers Church works among the poor in the slums by educating them and meeting their basic needs.
