Clean and Green: Sunday School Children Raise Awareness on Independence Day in Diocese of Hyderabad

Sunday school children of a church in Believers Church Diocese of Hyderabad celebrated Independence Day by organizing social work as part of a “Clean and Green” activity. The program was held on 15th August 2014, and 20 Sunday school children took part in it.

The children, right after the flag-hoisting, cleaned the premises of a Government High School as well as the public road. And then, they held an awareness rally raising the slogans of “Independence Day” and “Clean and Green.”

The school staff and community members were so pleased with their activity and they appreciated the children.

Believers Church organized similar programs all over India on Independence Day to raise awareness in various areas and to encourage the people to be good citizens.
