Believers Church Chennai Diocese held a poverty alleviation program on 28th March 2013. Bishop Dr. Samuel Mathew inaugurated the event by lighting a traditional lamp.
District Council members and a local middle school principal helped distribute useful gifts to impoverished community members. They appreciated the church’s work to empower people to develop their families, and were eager to participate in similar programs in the future.
