Changlang Conducts BioSand Water Filter Distribution Program

On 27th May 2014, Believers Church Changlang held a BioSand water filter distribution program. Around 30 families were benefited from the distribution program.

The people in the village depended on the nearby wells for their water needs. This water was contaminated with iron and was yellow in color. Unfiltered, this water had the potential to cause health problems like kidney failures, and the poor villagers didn’t have enough money to buy filters for themselves. In this condition the church took the initiative to distribute water filters among the villagers.

Pure drinking water can improve the quality of life of many people. Through the clean water project Believers Church has distributed thousands of BioSand water filters to needy communities.
