Camp Challenges Youth, “Let Us Build”

Believers Church Lucknow Diocese held a summer youth camp from 6th to 7th June 2013. The theme was “Let us build”, reflecting the camp’s goal to build careers, family, society and nation. More than 360 young people attended.

During the opening session, chief guest Dr. Raj Kumar, MDS (professor and Head of Department of Endodontics, Babu Banarasi Das University) spoke on achieving a successful bright career through putting forth effort.

Along with teaching sessions, there were games to teach values such as leadership, time management, teamwork and goal setting. Youth also got the chance to display their talents throughout the camp.

“I am lucky enough to be a part of this two days of summer youth camp organized by Believers Church,” said a student named Raja. “This camp was designed for building up a better career and understanding between all the members of a family, and aimed to foster positive attitudes that help us to create a supportive environment within our surrounding and our family and society as well.”

Believers Church recognizes that youth are the future of our nation and is equipping them in a number of different ways to succeed.
