Bridge of Hope Raises Awareness on World Population Day

A Bridge of Hope center in the Diocese of Birtamod conducted an awareness program on World Population Day, 11th July 2014. Fifty-seven people including the parents of Bridge of Hope children attended the program.

Rev. Fr. Dip Narsing was the chief guest of the program and he spoke about immigration and lack of family planning, which cause overpopulation. Also he discussed the solutions to overpopulation, like the need of family planning and sex education.

The parents were very happy and expressed their gratitude because most of them were unaware of social issues like overpopulation.
