Bridge of Hope Centers in Tinsukia Observe Global Hand Washing Day

Bridge of Hope centers in Believers Church Tinsukia Diocese observed Global Hand Washing Day on the 15th of October.

The reason behind the campaign was to create awareness among children and society on sanitation and promoting practices like hand washing and personal hygiene. The motto of the event was “Safe Hands Safe Lives.”

To create maximum awareness on the importance of hand washing, children and parents carried banners, liquid hand wash, buckets, mug, few towels, posters and printed leaflets. The leaflets were on how to wash hands. They were in English and Assamese, so that people could understand facts easily.

Two thousand printed leaflets were distributed to the students and their parents. The students visited schools, several houses and tea garden colonies to distribute the printed leaflets.

Believers Church is developing communities through various social awareness programs, resulting in positive and healthy changes in lifestyles.
