New Bore Well Ensures Dignity of Widows in Diocese of Ranchi

Collecting water is no longer a scary thing for widows in the small village in Believers Church Diocese of Ranchi who received a new bore well on 7th August 2014.

Previously, these widows took water from other houses because they lacked water in their locality. When they went, they were treated badly with dirty jokes and comments. Seeing their difficulties, the church took initiative to install a bore well for them.

Now, 15 widows and children take water from this well each day. They are grateful towards the church for solving their problem. “Now we can drink sufficient water without worrying about bullying from others,” said Gyanmati happily. “Thank you so much for this bore well.”

Believers Church always make pure water available to thousands of poverty-stricken families through clean water project.
