Blood Donation Camp Held in Diocese of Pokhara

Believers Church Diocese of Pokhara in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, Nepal organized a blood donation camp on 12th June 2017.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dharma Raj Adhikari (Chairperson of Red Cross Society, Gandaki Branch) shared about the importance of donating blood. He said blood donation was one of the highest services one could render to humanity.

Prior to the donation process, the donors were made to undergo a basic health checkup to make sure they were fit and healthy to donate blood. Altogether 20 people donated blood that day, including five Bridge of Hope staff. They were also awarded a certificate by the church for their contribution towards the noble cause.
