Blankets Distributed in Diocese of Chennai on World Leprosy Day

On World Leprosy Day, Believers Church Diocese of Chennai distributed warm clothes in hospitals, railway stations and slums.

The teams of Women’s Fellowship members, Sisters of Compassion and diocesan staff went and visited these places and distributed blankets to leprosy patients, beggar peoples and handicapped peoples.

90 people received blankets through these programs and they thanked the church for caring for their need, which no one ever did for them.

On occasions like this, Believers Church takes initiative to care for the needy, downtrodden and neglected through organizing distribution programs for them.
