On 1st November 2014, Bishop M.A Lalachan visited Shri. Ram Vilas Paswan (Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution) officially.
During the meeting, they both shared about the various activities of the Church as well the union government. They also discussed about the new initiatives of union government such as- Swachh Bharat, cleaning the Ganga, making India a manufacturing hub and faster environmental clearances for infrastructure projects. Bishop extended the full support and cooperation of the Church in these activities.
Later, Bishop shared about the vision of church to serve the poor, downtrodden, marginalized women and children in developing communities through water, sanitation, literacy programs, health care, relief efforts and poverty alleviation projects.
Shri Ram Vilas Paswan also promised the help and support by acknowledging the great impact the Church makes in the community.
