Believers Church Diocese of Patna observed the International Day of Peace with Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School students on 20th September 2014. They raised the theme of “Rights of People for Peace.”
Bishop M.A. Lalachan was the chief guest of the program. “Peace can’t be achieved through violence, but only through love, justice and truth. And its root lies in the relationships between families, communities, nations and people itself. We need to work together to establish peace on earth,” said bishop in his speech. He also encouraged them to show passion and care towards our neighborhood.
That day, 500 people including teachers, students and other dignitaries attended the program. Later, the students performed cultural programs too. They were greatly inspired by the message of bishop and took decision to work together to establish peace in their school.
