Bishop Dr. Simon John inaugurated a new Bridge of Hope center in Believers Church Himachal Pradesh on 18th April 2015.
The center was inaugurated in a remote village. Many of the children here don’t go to school because of their family’s poverty. Instead they help their parents with farming and other household works, even from their childhood. So, most of the villagers are illiterate. One of the reasons the church opened this center is to break this bondage of illiteracy.
100 children are currently enrolled in the center, and in the coming days, they will be given free tuitions, nutritious food, health, hygiene and school supplies and medical care.
Believers Church ensures the future of underprivileged children through its child care project, Bridge of Hope.
