Bishop Dr. Simon John Addresses Minor Seminary Students on Independence Day

Minor Seminary students in Believers Church Diocese of Delhi celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2014.

Soon after the flag hoisting program in the morning, students cleaned a government hospital and its surroundings. The students were excited to be involved and took active part in the social welfare work.

Later, Bishop Dr. Simon John addressed the youth and encouraged them to be good citizens of the nation. He said “Even though our country is independent, we are still under the bondage of poverty, malnutrition and child labor. We should stretch our hands to eradicate all these evils from society.”

Then, Minor Seminary Students and Sunday school children performed different programs like patriotic songs, cultural dances, skits and choreography.

Every year Believers Church celebrates Independence Day with events like this one throughout India.
