Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan Distributes Free Food Packets to Leprosy Patients and Beggars in Diocese of Kolkata
October 16, 2014Under the guidance of Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan, Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata distributed free food packets to 1,200 people on World Food Day.
The people who received these food packets included leprosy patients, widows, orphans and beggars. They were all happy for the compassion and care the church showed them, which no one ever did before. They thanked the church for giving them some food.
Believers Church each year provide food to thousands of people who struggle with poverty and hunger on World Food Day.
