Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan Addresses AIDS in Kolkata Diocese
December 1, 2013Believers Church Kolkata Diocese observed World AIDS Day on 1st December 2013, teaming up with local Bridge of Hope project centers. All the participants marched in an awareness rally, with Bridge of Hope children holding banners high to start the march. “Getting to Zero” was this year’s theme.
Participants held sign with AIDS awareness slogans like “Stop AIDS Now” and “Prevention is better than cure. Let’s Prevent Aids.”
Right after the rally the group gathered for an awareness program. Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan addressed the people who gathered, raising awareness about AIDS. At last, the Bishop and participants prayed for HIV/AIDS sufferers patients throughout India.
