Bishop B. Sunderraj Distributes Mosquito Nets and Blankets to 400 People in Diocese of Dhemaji

Believers Church Diocese of Dhemaji held a social welfare program on Episcopal Day, 6th February 2015 and distributed 400 mosquito nets and blankets to most needy people.

Bishop B. Sunderraj distributed the gifts to each beneficiary. Now, these nets and blankets will help them to stay safe from mosquito-related diseases and warm during the extreme cold of winter.

“Thank you so much for giving me a blanket,” said Indrajit Doley, a beneficiary.

Distribution programs like this are examples of how the Church is taking care of the needs of the poor and downtrodden.
