Bishop B. Sunderraj Distributes Blankets and Mosquito Nets to Widows and Orphans on International Women’s Day
March 8, 2015Bishop B. Sunderraj inaugurated the social welfare programs organized by Believers Church Diocese of Dhemaji on 8th March 2015, Founder’s Day and International Women’s Day.
A team of Women’s Fellowship members took initiative for the programs. They distributed 300 food packets, 300 mosquito nets and 200 blankets to people including widows and orphans.
The recipients thanked the sisters and bishop for coming forward to help them in their needs.
This is just one example of how the church utilizes each opportunity to serve the poor and downtrodden.
