On 8th March 2014, Believers Church Birtamod Diocese provided food to a home for disabled and mentally challenged children. Men’s Fellowship and Women’s Fellowship team members conducted the program and they gifted 125 kg rice, 40 kg potatoes, 10 kg onions and 5 kg dal to the home.
Around 35 children are residing in the home and the team spent some quality time with each child. Ms. Bimala, the chairperson of the home, was very happy and expressed her gratitude to the church.
Later the team visited a Bridge of Hope center and distributed cakes and snacks to the children. They gifted toothbrushes and toothpaste to each child and talk to them about the importance of hygiene.
This is just one example of how Believers Church reaches out to children need. The church regularly cares for impoverished children through Bridge of Hope and Asha Grih street children’s homes.
