Biosand Water Fiters Distributed in Dhemaji Diocese

Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese distributed BioSand water filters to thirty families on the 21st of September.

The water in the village was contaminated and smelled bad. Also the villagers could not afford any money for filters. On hearing about our BioSand water filters and how effective they were, they requested the church to provide them with filters. At their requests, Believers Church in Dhemaji Diocese distributed the needed filters.

Kankan and her husband have five daughters and three sons. She said, “It is very hard for us to manage to buy filters because we are a big family and we have to meet all the needs of the children. But today I see a new hope through this BioSand water filter which provides safe drinking water. I am glad to have this filter for my family.”

Torun said, “I heard of BioSand water filters and badly wanted one for my family too. My neighbor has a filter and I like to drink water from their house because the water is clean and has good taste. Moreover the smell is gone after filtering it. I am happy to get this filter for my family.”

Believers Church is able to provide clean drinking water to thousands of villagers by drilling bore wells and distributing BioSand water filters.
