BioSand Water Filter Distributions Held on World Water Day in Uttarakhand

On 22nd March 2014, World Water Day, Believers Church Uttrakhand held BioSand Water Filter Distribution programs. The programs took place in a government school and a slum.

In both places people received a demonstration class about the usage of the filters. They were surprised to see the yellow water they normally use turn into pure drinking water. More than 35 filters were distributed on that day.

The school’s Principal Mrs. Lakeda said that, “The taste of the water is different and really it is good to drink. Even though you poured the dirty water but it turned into pure water. Thank you very much for working for the community.”

BioSand Water filters contribute to the health of entire communities and improve the lifestyle of the poor and suffering. Believers Church has distributed thousands of BioSand Water Filters to the needy.
