BioSand Filters Free Community from Arsenic

Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese on 21st December 2012 distributed 30 biosand water filters free of cost to a community in Assam. The community members could not afford water filters and their poverty forced them to use arsenic-contaminated water each day. It was the only water available for washing, cooking or drinking.

The BioSand water filter distribution saved them from consuming any more of the dangerous water. The local people were very pleased to receive the filters and thanked the church for its development work.

Believers Church has given clean, fresh water to hundreds of needy communities through the BioSand Water filter project.
