Believers Church Bengaluru Diocese celebrated India’s 65th Republic Day in a unique way, beginning a new branch of service to the community. On the morning of 26th January, the local panchayat leader, Minor Seminary students, church believers and staff gathered for a flag-raising. Mr. Ramanna (panchayat leader) hoisted the flag, and everyone sang the national anthem.
After this program, the diocese’s first Sisters of Compassion were dedicated to serve local people in need, including slum dwellers, leprosy patients and the poor.
Believers Church consistently strives to build communities and nations by helping those in need.
